n 2020, amidst the pandemic, I led a team in developing three tabletop games (Bar Wars, Sleep, and Privateer) from concept to physical prototype. As Team Lead, I orchestrated the discovery phase, creating project briefs, establishing feasibility, and setting budgets. Using the kanban method on Trello, we concurrently produced the games, holding regular design sessions, playtests, and brainstorming meetings.

By early 2021, Bar Wars and Sleep were completed, showcased, and played at a Brooklyn gaming club. The flagship game, Privateer, underwent extensive design sessions, beta-testing, and refinement, leading to a fully playable beta-version showcased at Pax Unplugged in December 2021, receiving positive reviews.

The project achieved our goal of showcasing a playable tabletop game at a major convention, emphasizing storytelling and valuable learning experiences. While we declined further convention invitations to focus on personal goals, the gained skills and experiences remain invaluable.
